From the press reports you hear, most folks must think everyone in India will welcome the new interest by America in India. Think again. Dow Chemical bought out Union Carbide, but such sales include both assets and liabilities and although Dow reminds folks that what happened in Bhopal was not their fault, effigies of George Bush are being burned there.
